Egg-ceptionally warm Easter

Date Added: 18/04/2019

Easter is finally here, and we are pleased to say the weather forecast is looking great for the bank holiday.

All seedlings planted so far are all safely under covers and growing well due to the good soil conditions and warn soil temperatures.
These covered crops will be ready to be harvested by end of May/beginning of June.

Recent good weather has allowed three quarters of our Seed Potatoes to be planted. Hopefully in the next week or so we'll have planted them all.

Lincolnshire Savoy is soon coming to an end however don't worry Spanish Savoy will soon be ready to take over for a few weeks, before new season Lincs Savoy is ready to harvest from the end of May.

Keep your eyes peeled for the first UK Pointed cabbages hitting the shelves in the next few weeks.

Spring Greens and Purple Sprouting Broccoli are currently in season and both versatile vegetables are great served with Lamb for your Easter Roast!

Finally, from all at TH Clements we wish you all a very 'hoppy' Easter filled with fresh Lincolnshire Vegetables and of course plenty of Chocolate!
